The company recently ended its seed funding round with a total of $2.25 million from a number of investors, including StageOne VC, Eddy Shalev, Marius Nacht, and Kaedan Capital. SafeDK monitors the real-time behavior of SDKs and notifies developers of privacy, performance, and stability issues.
Moreover, it provides granular control over the SDK privacy permissions and allows developers to simply turn off SDKs or certain functionality within an SDK without harming app stability. Now, with a simple integration, developers can control their apps' SDKs in real-time with an automatic, easy-to-use dashboard.
Most mobile apps use 3rd party SDKs to add functionality such as advertising, analytics, social, and more. These SDKs might cause various issues ranging from app slow down and crashes, to excessive battery consumption and malicious behavior. To safeguard their apps and their users, developers simply need to integrate the SafeDK plug-in into their development environment or drag and drop their APK into the SafeDK platform, where it automatically populates all of the SDKs being used in that particular app. From that point on, developers gain full transparency and control over their app security and quality with the ability to view live SDK issues and statistics, turn permissions on and off, or remotely deactivate an entire SDK. No additional intervention from the developer is required beyond the initial integration.
