RSJ Deploys Corvil to Optimize IT Operational Performance for eTrading
Corvil, a provider of real-time operational performance analytics and monitoring solutions, today announced that RSJ a.s. (RSJ), one of the world's largest algorithmic traders, has deployed Corvil to optimize the performance of its trading systems for NYSE Liffe, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) and Eurex.
Based in the Czech Republic, RSJ is the largest traders on NYSE Liffe, the CME and the Eurex, with a total yearly trading volume of over 200 million contracts. RSJ employs proprietary mathematical algorithms with servers hosted at each exchange, interconnected in a unique world-wide network with a sub-millisecond decision-making framework.
RSJ uses Corvil to analyze activity and performance both within its trading network and across external trading venues. The Corvil deployment non-intrusively monitors market data and trading traffic at each point-of-entry and point-of-exit in RSJ's network. From this data Corvil extracts, decodes and analyzes IT operational performance and health for market data feeds, trading sessions, algorithmic servers and network connections. The system provides complete and accurate records of trading activity and alerts on any detected anomalous conditions at the network or application levels.
