CLEVELAND, May 12, 2015 - The Lubrizol Corporation announces that its LifeSciences business (Booth 66) will showcase its total solutions capabilities, including those from the acquisition of Vesta and recent alliance with Particle Sciences at IATI Biomed 2015 in Tel Aviv, Israel.
The acquisition of contract manufacturer Vesta, in combination with the recent Particle Sciences alliance, means that the Lubrizol LifeSciences business is offering complete, full-service solutions to the medical device/drug delivery markets. Vesta complements Lubrizol's portfolio in the life science sector by adding capabilities of complete precision silicone processing and thermoplastic extrusion. The alliance with Particle Sciences, an integrated provider of drug development services, offers customers formulation capabilities across a wide range of materials.
Lubrizol LifeSciences aims to support customers' success at every stage of development: advanced polymer materials, API formulation, R&D/engineering, quality processes and manufacturing efficiency. This unique combination offers tremendous partnering opportunities to deliver comprehensive medical solutions.
