Tiger IT Awarded Contract for Supply of Polycarbonate Driving License Cards to Bangladesh Road Transport Authority
Mr. Nurul Islam, Director (Eng) of BRTA said, "Over the last couple of years we have been taking substantial steps to overhaul our existing processes to a more robust and transparent system. It is worth mentioning that BRTA is the first to introduce chip-based cards in Bangladesh. Through the introduction of smart card licenses, enrolment of driver and vehicle information, and creating a national database we have been able to fight crimes related to fake licenses on the roads. This project is the second phase whereby we will make our license application and renewal systems online and also automate the payment verification process so that we can provide improved services to our people."

We will be introducing new services for BRTA such as online application and renewal, license verification using mobile phones and tablets, and SMS service for applicants to schedule appointments.
