TE Connectivity To Showcase High-Speed, Energy Efficient Fiber Connectivity at ECOC 2014

TE will participate in several live demos in the OIF booth (#525) including a CDFP 400G thermal demo, 100G copper cables demo, STRADA Whisper 100G backplane connector demo and QSFP28 100G IO demo. 

TE's Jeroen Duis, manager of electro-optical engineering, will also present Data Center Interconnects, The Future of Optics: Coolbit Optical Engines on September 24 at 10:45 a.m. in the Salle Esterel room. Duis will discuss the concerns associated with data center energy consumption, the increased demand for data, and the importance of cooling at the component level.
