Rolta's Q1 FY-13 Consolidated Revenue Grows 5.6% and Net Profit 32.4% Sequentially

Enterprise Geospatial & Engineering Solutions (EGES)
Apart from Rolta's focus on the traditional areas of geospatial and engineering services and enterprise-level solutions for the global market, the company has consciously developed a portfolio of world class solutions to address the multi-billion dollar modernization projects in the Indian defence and security markets. The company is very well positioned, in conjunction with partners of global standing, to build, integrate, implement and support sophisticated and comprehensive systems. Rolta's portfolio includes sophisticated offerings for C4ISTAR programs like Digital Soldier Systems, Battlefield Management Systems, Vehicle & Fire Control Systems, Software Defined Radios, Safe City programs, Critical Infrastructure Protection Systems, and Crime & Criminal Tracking Network Systems (CCTNS). Rolta is one of the few select organizations which has been qualified through stringent selection criteria to be shortlisted for final consideration in many of these opportunities and has, in fact, even been contracted for many of them; for example for CCTNS projects in North-East India.
Rolta continues to build and deploy innovative solutions on its Geospatial Fusion™ platform for a variety of applications worldwide - from modeling urban environment, transportation corridors, land record management, land-use analysis and tax management, to mapping flood plains, assessing geological hazards, crop monitoring, watershed management, etc. The company has completed projects in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and India.
Rolta has also succeeded in stepping up the pace in its engineering services business. Rolta won a contract from one of India's major oil companies for engineering services, procurement support and construction management to build a petroleum product Storage Terminal Depot. The company received a repeat order for design of a hydrogen generation module from a leading Naval organization in recognition of superior performance earlier. On the international front, the company established a sophisticated Offshore Design Centre for GE Energy in Mumbai.
Systems Integration & Enterprise IT Solutions (EITS)
The development of Rolta's IP-led approach has enabled Rolta to also play in the large main-stream IT solutions and services market with differentiated offerings. Rolta offers comprehensive services for implementing enterprise-level applications and systems integration on multiple technology platforms. Rolta's expertise encompasses EBS, ERP, CRM, and EPM, all high-impact areas of interest to CXOs. With deep domain expertise in our selected verticals, Rolta provides a comprehensive set of services for a company's IT needs - from initial assessments, to development of an IT roadmap, including evaluation of Cloud and virtual data-center strategies, through sizing and implementation of complete solutions for optimal infrastructure configurations and enterprise-level business applications and analytics, with ongoing technical support. For example, the company is engaged in an EPM project for a major Financial Services client in the US. In UK, Rolta successfully delivered on phase one of a large IT project for a major electric company, and has won a much larger phase two award.
