Liz Fuller invited to Host Formula 1 Grand Prix Ball in Abu Dhabi
Gorgeous Welsh TV presenter Liz Fuller was invited to host the glittering inaugural ball to the spectacular F1 Grand Prix race - the climax of the world championship season – that took place on 31st October, in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Abu Dhabi, 12/11/2009 (informazione.it - comunicati stampa) She wore a fabulous evening gown in raspberry silk chiffon by her favourite couture designer Rachel Elbaz. The Welsh beauty was further honoured when asked to officially welcome Sheikh Mohammad-bin-Zayed-Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi to the event.
It was a Bond themed and star-studded event, attended by such A-list celebrities as Janet Jackson, Hollywood star Neve Campbell, Sir Richard Branson and Jeremy Iron to name but a few. Large sums of money were raised for the charity Fresh 02 that aims to provide clean, safe drinking water to the more than one billion who need it globally. Amongst the hottest auction items were a vintage Cadillac, a trip to the Virgin Galactic Space Ship launch in California, a private round of golf with Sir Nick Faldo and a $50,000 Platinum Vision home theatre system used by the likes of David Beckham.
Guests were entertained by Latin legends the Gypsy Kings an operatic tenor Jean-Luc Viala who has performed with classical superstars such as Luciano Pavarotti.
OK magazine Middle East took advantage of Liz's flying visit to the UAE to organise a major photo shoot with the former Miss Great Britain for this top celebrity magazine.
Not that down to earth Liz's head was turned by all the glitz and glamour. She came accompanied by her boyfriend from Swansea, Richard Jones, owner of the Welsh city's leading fashion store Moda Collections.
