FlexEnable Honours Flexible Electronics Future Pioneers

The award recognises outstanding research in the area of flexible electronics. Student posters/papers are judged by a distinguished, but anonymous, panel of academics and industry representatives from the flexible and printed electronics and display industries. This year saw submissions from ten different universities, which were judged on specific criteria, including originality, significance, references and layout, as well as the quality of the oral presentation.

The award recognises outstanding research in the area of flexible electronics. Student posters/papers are judged by a distinguished, but anonymous, panel of academics and industry representatives from the flexible and printed electronics and display industries. This year saw submissions from ten different universities, which were judged on specific criteria, including originality, significance, references and layout, as well as the quality of the oral presentation.

Bob Reuss, 2015FLEX conference advisor and award panel chairman, was excited to see contributions by both graduate and undergraduate students and commented: "The work described covers relevant problems in both manufacturing technology and novel future applications and the timeframe stretches from near term utilisation of the students' work to longer term future developments.
