GM files racketeering suit against Fiat Chrysler, accuses Sergio Marchionne of corruption

District Court in Detroit names Fiat Chrysler and former Fiat Chrysler executives Al Iacobelli, Jerome Durden and Michael Brown as defendants.

The lawsuit alleges that during contract negotiations in 2011 and 2015, Fiat Chrysler targeted GM in a multiyear pattern of corruption that undermined the integrity of collective bargaining with the UAW.

Durden was a financial analyst at Fiat Chrysler and Brown was director of employee relations, also involved in UAW negotiations. (USA TODAY)
