VI° International Folklore Festival "Bracciano’s Castle" (22/26 – 26/30 August 2013): an amazing Folk Festival with groups from all over the world. Roma, (informazione.it - comunicati stampa - fiere ed eventi) Some days to the start of one of the biggest festival of Lazio - Italy: "Bracciano's Castle" , organized by Sopravista Events agency, Association "Cultura in movimento", Municipality of Bracciano and Department of cultural policies. The 6th edition of festival reserves many news for numerous guests of Bracciano and surrounding - 17 participating groups, for first time in Bracciano - groups from Georgia and Russia. Return for second time in Bracciano groups from Finland, Estonia and Sardegna.
It will be organized 2 parade of the ensembles in the streets of Bracciano, 4 evening concerts, discoteque and contest miss festival.

Dance, song and instrumental ensembles are invited to participate in the Festival.
Born from a spontaneous need to awaken the essential values that have characterized our ancestors over the centuries, the 5 editions of the International Folklore Festival "Castle of Bracciano" have generated wide interest in the small town and they immediately received approval from the community. Because the folklore embodies these characteristics of traditional and territoriality that have transformed over the centuries, rituals and customs of people living in what today we can define important cultural resources and economic opportunities. Transferring from generation to generation the secrets, traditions and customs today tourism and daily life tend to rediscover the value of these ancient origins that depart from handicrafts and folk art to arrive at the traditional festivals and folk customs.
Every day the citizens of Bracciano and surrounding area will be entertained with concerts in the square, there will be meetings between the groups, games and lessons in folklore for the public, hoping to thus aid the preservation of folk culture and human relations between the countries. The Folklore Festival also brings with it the opportunity to present the richness of ancient Italian heritage and leave indelible memories that each participant bring in their own land.
Each participating group will be awarded a Honorary Diploma of Festival Participant, valuable souvenir and a gift, DVD with the film on the Festival events. The Festival’s activities will be covered in the broadcasts of the Italian national and regional TV channels and radio stations, Italian newspapers and magazines.

Within the framework of the Festival each ensemble is expected to be ready to take part in:
• Opening parade in the streets of the town
• Independent concerts
