Maura Abeln Smith Leaving Delhaize Group
BRUSSELS, BELGIUM, 13 October 2014 -- Delhaize Group is announcing that Maura Abeln Smith, Executive Vice President, General Counsel and General Secretary for Delhaize Group, will leave the company effective November 1 2014.
"I am grateful for Maura's service. She came to Delhaize Group at a time of transition in leadership. She was committed, worked diligently, and made significant contributions and we wish her well in her future endeavors," said Frans Muller, President and CEO of Delhaize Group.
A successor will be named in the near future.
