Dimension Data Advanced Infrastructure (DDAI), the building controls systems integrator and top-achieving Milestone partner, has won the award for Systems Integrator of the Year at the Milestone Integration Platform Symposium (MIPS) Europe Conference 2011 - an industry event held in September this year in Copenhagen by Milestone Systems, the leading global developer of open platform software for managing IP network-based video surveillance.

The MIPS was attended by over 200 of the leading IP Security manufacturers and distributors. Delegates were given the chance to network with industry peers, and listen to keynote speeches, presented by Lars Thinggaard, President and CEO of Milestone Systems, on the future of IP technology.

The Systems Integrator of the Year award recognises a top-achieving Milestone partner that has demonstrated excellence in CCTV and integrated business across Europe. Judges noted that DDAI had demonstrated, "solid technical solutions which went beyond expectations," and were also impressed by its strong vertical approach to sales, with specific reference to its retail and education sector growth.

DDAI's team of highly skilled and trained professionals has been designing and installing solid and reliable IPCC TV systems for over five years, and demonstrated to the judges a deep knowledge of the IP and physical security products, and thus an understanding of which solution best suits each client.  Furthermore, DDAI has enjoyed a steady increase in sales in both the schools and retail trade markets in recent months, and as the Education sector is one of the biggest adopters of IP Security in the UK, the judges were very impressed by its strong vertical approach.

Milestone Systems UK and Ireland Country Manager, Glenn Fletcher, comments: "DDAI has worked very hard to achieve the Milestone partner of the year award, which was handed to them when they attended the Milestone Systems MIPS event in Copenhagen. This is a European award and reflects their unique in-house building controls systems integrator skill sets, which enable them to deploy first class Milestone VMS projects. They have worked well with the Milestone Open Platform products and made best use of a number of our Solution and Alliance Partners to enable them to stand out from the crowd in 2010 and 2011. Well done DDAI from the Milestone UK team."

Kari Baden, Managing Director of DDAI, concludes: "We are delighted to win the Systems Integrator of the Year award at the MIPS. We are dedicated to providing our clients with the most secure and reliable of IPCC TV installations, and to have this commitment officially recognised by Milestone's Systems Integrator of the Year award is testament to our success."
